I'm running Slackware 7.1. Whenever I press ^D in the shell (bash) to log out I get a message like this "Type "logout" to exit the shell" (or something like that, it tells me to type in logout instead). If I press ^D about 10 times it logs out. I find this very annoying, I just want to press ^D and be done with it! How can I change this?
