Hello
I am a German, living for some time in southern France. As I want to start with LINUX, I would like to find out if there are groups of Linux users in this region (between Nizza, Cannes, ST. Tropez) If you know any links for groups in that region, it would be very helpful

Thank you.

Bye

Is this how you spend your time while waiting for others to answer your questions?

Wouldn't it be better spent searching for some of the answers yourself?

You'll never learn that way...

Sorry, but you know what I mean.

You'll (or anyone) will never learn unless they make the effort to read, search and also search and read. :D

Seriously?

Manual Pages

man <command>

man lilo.conf

man lilo

Most commandline apps include a manpage. The reason being is most commandline apps have loads of options/switches that can be used with the command, so they include manpages.

Nice of them wasn't it? :D

Next time you have a problem with a command or do not understand the usage, see if it has a related manpage.

Why not just try and see for yourself?

man bash is a good one. Take you a couple of days to read.
