Setting x-windows

I've already install REdHat 6.1. How do I get to x-windows?... I've tried type startx, but it's not working. Anybody know how?

You got to be a bit more specfic. What error do you get when you type "startx"? what hardware are you running on (ie. video card,processor, etc.) If you did a custom instal(not the default one) you might of not installed XFree86. If you are still lost try reinstalling your distro and make sure that XFree86 is installed.

Do you have startx in /usr/X11R6/bin
If not I would re-install os. Are you typing
the command with caps lock off?
