I'm installing Progeny now (on a new box), but the keyboard won't work when the the X part of the installation starts. I can't type anything at all...and of course I need to seeing as I need to type my root password and all...
Does anybody have an idea?
BTW the mouse works fine.

Old-style or PS/2 keyboard connector? Serial or PS/2 mouse?

You can't have a USB mouse and a ps/2 keyboard, I had the same problem. Using a ps/2 mouse and keyboard fixed the problem. If that's not what you used try using different connection types, if possible.

Thanx guys! It worked. I have a usb mouse and a ps/2 keyboard. I used the ps/2 converter on my usb mouse and it works...now I just need to change it back to usb...which I know how to do.
Thanx! ;)
