I want to give FreeBSD a try, i found different downloadsites but they're all
FTP's, that's not really a problem but i can't find out what exactly to download.
There are so many different folders...
Anyone know where and wich to download ?
There should be just one file that contains everything ?

Find the .iso file and that should be the CD image. If you have a CD burner, you can create an installation CD off of that .iso. If you don't have a CD burner, I'd suggest just buying a copy of it from CheapBytes or some place like that.

Like Debian, you can also make 2 install floppies (kernel and root) and install from FreeBSD's server choosing only the packages you need.

If you are on a modem this means you can start a download at night and have a working system in the morning http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif It would days to d/l an .iso file by modem. (I'll have DSL soon http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif )
