Flash and Mozilla

Hi everyone,
I seem to experience something weird on my PC.
In installed Mozilla 1.0. I also installed Flash plugin. When I now start Mozilla as a user, it crashes when I enter a site using flash. When I visit the same site using the root, I can view it perfectly. I changed the directories of mozilla to 777. Still no change. I installed the plugins under the user account, still no chance. I currently star mozilla as root, to keep it going, but as my computer is used by several persons (whom I don't want to give my root pass) I really would like to fix this prob.
Any ideas anyone?

Hi everyone,

I seemed to have found the real problem. With a flash movie, Mozilla wants to use the sound device. The few times my movies kept running, was when this device was available. I found that there is a solution to this problem in opera but don't find one for Mozilla.
Is there anyone who has an idea how to fix this?
