If you've been looking for a Web browser other than Netscape or Mozilla, KDE 2.0's Konquerer might just be for you. It's the most Internet Explorer-like (my favourite) browser available on the Linux platform that I've tried. Legible fonts. Nice feel. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/smile.gif

I agree, Opera is pretty nice and fast. Konquerer is O.K. IMHO. Mozilla is pretty decent, but a little slow. (Still running debug code)

I've heard alot about Galeon, but haven't tried it yet....

Konquerors very good, but how does one do a search, when i go to do a search using the search tab on the left of the screen konqueror crashes, I love using it,but have to use mozilla when i want to search the web.

Konqueror is okay, but it slows the rest of my system to a crawl whenever it starts (read: xmms starts skipping!!)

Mozilla is... Mozilla. Bloated, slow, renders fine http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/rolleyes.gif

I've been using Opera mostly, and have just the 30 day evaluation version. I think that I would actually buy the thing its that good! However, I haven't gotten Konqeurer on yet, since I can't download KDE2 fast enough (I'm in the UK), so I'll delay my purchase until I'm running KDE2...
