XFree86-DGA

I am trying to run snes9x. When I start it up, I get a message saying:

Xlib: extension "XFree86-DGA" missing on display ":0.0".

What does this mean and how can I fix it?

What version of XF86 are you running? In the main release of 4.0.1 DGA mouse handling is broken. You can grab the CVS source to fix it, but prepare for a huge download. The full source is a couple hunderd megabytes and there,as far as I know, isn't a pre-compiled version available. Other option would be wait for 4.0.2 or install Mandrake7.2 as it includes the current cvs snapshot of 4.0.1 rather than the older release.
