"You have new mail..."

This probably one of those simple questions that most will say "He didn't know that?"

Anyway, sometimes at boot up I will get a message at the CLI 'You have new mail'. Where is this mail and how do I read it?

type in mail at the cli. it will show a couple of numbers. type a number to bring up that mail.

To read the mail you need to use a mail reading program. pine is a good one that you probably have. Just type pine to run it, the thing is pretty intuitive to use.
