Monitor randomely shuts off

Hey all,
ok... i got Red Hat 7.2 and after say 20 (give or take) the computer just quits the monitor feed... it gose blank and says there is no input... i know the computer is running cuz gaim is still beeping at me??

and ideas ??

Hmm might be buggy DPMS support in that driver. Maybe go into the BIOS and disable DPMS (power management).
