After I type in make bzImage (after make dep and make clean) i get a wierd error saying " gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1 got fatal signal 11 -after that- make:*** [init/main.o] Error 1". Would anyone know what is causing this? A response to this would be great, or if you could write me at Fr0stByte7@hotmail.com that would be even better, Thanks

If this happens most every time, it's highly likely to be flaky hardware. A kernel build stresses your PC hard, and marginal hardware that works in daily use will be found wanting.

Typically it's bad memory or an overheating processor that causes this problem.
