I had to wipe out my Windoze directory today and do a complete re-install. (Sorry guys, I need some windoze proggies.)

The trouble is that it wiped out GRUB.

Is there any way to get it bacck without doing a new install?

I just completely updated the files and don't relish going through the DL's again.

Before I became Microsoft free I wiped out Lilo and Grub a few times (a common problem with windoze). Boot with your rescue disk and reinstall grub from within linux or do an update install from the CD and click on thru until you get to the bootloader installation. That always worked for me.
