audio cd burning

this is not a linux quesiton but i hope you guys don't mind. I was wondering whether its my problem or is it the cd-rw but i cant seems to burn audio files to cd-rw. I can only do it with cd-r.

Where are you trying to play the produced CDs? If you're using a car CD player or an old stereo CD player, it won't work. A CD-RW reflects less light than a regular CD or CD-R, and thus some old CD players won't read it properly.
