I am trying to run Mandrake 8 here at home. I have my Voodoo 5 5500 AGP running in X windows, but the screen is very small. I tried some drivers I found, loaded the glide libraries, and used SuperProbe and entered the findings accordingly. It just doesnt work right. I use my Voodoo 3 2000 pci and can play Quake 3 and Simcity like no prob, but my Voodoo 5 is horrible.

Any help please?

Never owned a Voodoo myself, so all I can suggest unless someone else here can help, is you do some serious web searching. Google is a good one to start and perhaps Mandrakes site or http://www.mandrakeuser.org/index.php

This si for RedHat, but might help you out since the two are so similar:

Thanks man, that article got me looking. I found the drivers and updated glide lib's, worked fine in Mandrake 8. Took me about 20 minutes. Thanks again.
