Hullo all...I just installed SuSe linux 7.1, and im having trouble getting my modem to configure properly and get up and running.Have i missed something? any help would be appreciated, thanks

Heh heh. Winmodem? I don't know if that's your problem, but, that should be the first thing you should check. If it is, good luck. Winmodems are so [the rest of this post has been censored due to extreme language which can offend children and other sensitive people].

No, slapnut. Didn't. But, read my post a couple below this entitled, "About Lovechild's post" and, if Lovechild is right, that may explain why I can't compile the drivers.
