Difference in cd's

Ok! I went to cheapbytes and wanted to order Mandrake 7.2! Now I see that it comes in 2 different prices 1 PC Version other PC version CD-R? WHat is the difference between the two cd's?

one would be on a cd-r, like you would burn yourself and the other would be like a production run cd, there could be problems if your cdrom doesnt like cd-rs though, mine doesnt like some of them, but maybe its just me

Then why would the CD-R be more expensive?
