I am running redhat 6.x on my server, with dhcp..
I bootup my laptop (in windows) - it beeps, I get the proper address.. I can ping the outside world, but when I try to either drop&drag files to other computers (in network neighborhood) or even ftp to my server to try to "put" a file, it will lag around 5k transfered, and 'halt'. If I bootup in Linux, it will work fine. I think there might be a problem with the window size and compatibility between windows/linux auto-neogotion.. yet I can drag&drop fine from my other family desktop PCs. This is a fresh installatino of win98 - how would I go about forcing window-size or whatever the fix might be?
