DEXXA Optical PS/2 Mouse problem

If i move the mouse slow it doesn't respond but if i start moving it fast (not as fast as i can but about 1/2 in a sec speed) it will respond great (can make circles without a problem). I use the IMPS/2 in my XFree4.x config file. I use Mandrake 8.0 btw.
The mouse works fine in windows (wouldent have windows at all but my brother wants to play EverQuest bah!) and it is very detailed. I have the wheel and 3 buttons working in Linux without a problem.

Anything in the KDE Control Center to change the mouse sensitivity? Another option would be to manually make the changes in XF86Config-4.
http://www.xfree86.org/current/mouse.html may have your mouse listed and suggested settings you can try.
