Why is Slackware not on the list for Helixcode...

It's because Helixcode thinks of Linux as "redhat" or something like that. Apparently, they don't believe that slackware has enough followers to bother even compiling Gnome for slackware. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/frown.gif

If you really want it, you could compile it, but I recommend that you get Kde2 instead; it's much better than Gnome, IMHO. http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif
