how's this different from using rpmdrake and d/l cooker rpms :)

I've already installed it and i'm using it right now as a matter of fact and it is GREAT... I used it to resolve problems i was seeing with 8.0..

Having installed this release (well, an upgrade over 8.0), I think this is more stable than Cooker shenanigans. I equate running Cooker to installing the purest form of Debian as a newbie ... not for the inexperienced.
