What's the difference? I have M18 but wondering how it differs from the newly released N6.
Just as slow?
Look as pretty?
Key feature differences?
Thanks gang!

By the way, just upgraded to kernel 2.4.0-test10 (have to add in the test11 patch yet) -- my first time doing it and it works! Woo Hoo! http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/biggrin.gif

IMHO, the best build of Mozilla to use is a good, stable nightly build - check the 'build bar' at mozillazine.org for a commentary. I'm running the Nov. 9 nightly and it's very nice, considerably better than M18.

Well, it's my highly subjective speculation, based on experience with both, that NS6 is somewhat faster. I suspect "some" of the debugging code may have been omitted from it. If you cut off "full-circle" it responds much more quickly, also a subjective, non scientific observation.

I think he meant that N6 INCLUDES the plugins kmj.

oh, okay. Yeah, M18 annoyed me in that, they made plugins tremendously simple to get, but they didn't fix permissions in the plugins dir so when a server tried to send you a plugin, it would just sit there forever.
