Would an nVidia TNT2 card be better than my ATI Rage 128 card? I know it is older technology, but I don't have a lot to spend on a new card and they seem to be priced well. And since I get no 3d acceleration with my ATI card with my new motherbard I need something.

TNT2 Ultra would be a little better, a TNT2 would be a little worse.

If you get no acceleration, I would check your kernel config. Likely you don't have the right agp chipset selected or don't have the r128 module built.

If you want better, your two top choices is a Geforce2 or a Radeon. Personally I think the radeon is better overall, and both are a pain to set up.

Thanks. I will look into the kernel config issue and see if maybe it's just not set up. This motherboard uses that new Ali MaGiK1 chipset, and I am using Kernel 2.4.2 so I guess I don't even know if it is supported fully yet.
