I`m currently running SuSE linux 7.1 pro. Is it possible to configure my Nvidia Geforce card, so I can play Tux racer, quake and stuff like that ? If so .. how ?

There is a driver specific for GeForce on nVidia website ... Acceleration is OK, but there is a bug : once you used the graphical thing (log on a graphical console, and then a delog), you cannot switch to text mode again ...
