LT Modem in Linux

Hey!
Has anyone here get an LT winmodem to work in linux?
There are how-to's in the NHF section, but those just don't work for me, Only for older kernels.

Right now I'm running Slackware 7.1, kernel 2.2.16.

If anyone can help me out, please respond. I will be forever in debt.
