NEWBIE!!!!! HELP PLZZZZZZZ!!!!!

a quick one,

keep getting, at irregular times an error when running SuSEconfig.

says

/sbin/etc/rc.config CONSOLE_MAGIC can be empty or contain "(B" ")B" "(K" ect ect

I've checked CONSOLE_MAGIC in rc.config and it does contain "(B" and I've tried all the other combinations.
Problem is, is that when this happens it stops KDE2 working an I lose all network connections to my other puters :(

any help GREATLY appreciated

I did a quick search at Google and all I can suggest is you comment out that line and try again.

# for some fonts the console has to be initialized with CONSOLE_MAGIC.
