I installed my Linux HDD in a new box with a new SOYO K7VTA-B motherboard and 700 Duron. The new box won't mount the CD I took from the eMachines box I was running the same HDD in. Is this a Soyo Bios conf problem or a Linux driver problem? CD works fine now as I set up the Bios properly, but now Linux only reches "Setting up ISA PNP devices /etc/isapnp.conf:20 --Fatal -Error occured executing request 'Isolate Preserve ' --further action aborted Failed"
The boot sequence continues until "Loading sound module[via 82cxxx]" and the box hangs and will go no further. Any advice?
