Their is a device called Web Ramb that acts as a gateway to the internet using external modems. The company states that you will need as many phone lines as you have modems and the device senses the need for more bandwidth and dials as many modems as it needs to satisfy band width requirements. Is there a way to do this exact thing with PPP. Even if it dials 3 modems all at once.
Thanks
Huggy

it can be done in windoze using "multilink" for 2 modems if your isp supports multilink
i have used it along with ICS (internet connnection sharing) to provide better POTS speed to small LANS.
i don't know if anything like this is available in linux http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/frown.gif

load sharing is available for Linux also. I use Mandrake 7.2 on my desktop and it seems like there was even a package available with the distribution
