Ok I was about to install LM this morning but I had to get ready for work.
But I did wipe Windows of the 1st HD, and I format the 2nd(2gig) HD as FAT32 so I can transfer files between BeOS and Linux.

When I get home I'll install Linux. I'll be reading the LM 8.0 reference Manual at work during breaks and lunch.

I'm going to see how long I can go without mirosoft.

i intend doing this, when i manage to get a decent mpeg video player working and fully understand how to set up and maintain a good firewall :)

I read your post about Xine, dvdnut. Games and DVD were the only reason I still had windows. Well games are avilible for Linux now and shall wait and see for DVD. I an always use VideoLan for BeOS since it deos work somwhat.

Ok I got LM 8.0 powerpack installed. After some trouble manage to install the OpenGl drivers formy GF2 GTS using make.

Now what fonts should I use in Konqueror? I got AA turned on but the fonts on LNO look wierd. Should I get the Window's fonts?
