I installed RH7.1 with MySQL, PHP and Apache. The problem is I don't know how to enable them to work together. I tired to upgrade MySQL via RPM, but it seems like there are some conflicting error. I tried to follow the NHF, but it seems like they can't work either. Apache says that something is not a module. As I tried to compile it with DSO support with the path to RedHat and with the option "most". How do I undo it? Lastly, Apache can't seem to see that PHP is installed already, how do I make it realise that it is there?

Can anyone please help? I'm just starting out.I tried to install Debian but the installation just couldn't recognise too many things.

Thanks a lot

I have no idea about webserving stuff...why don't you try in the "networking" or "web serving" forum?

LISTEN TO ME!! Use the NHF for Setting up Apache with mySQL, Frontpage 2000 Extensions, and PHP NHF. Just skip the Front page 2000 parts and do it. I worked for me!

But how do I upgrade them to the latest version ? How do i ./configure --enable those modules that i want in redhat? I will try again tomorrow.

How do I get MySQL/PHP running out of the box?
