Webserver on RH7

I am thinking about "trying" to run a webserver off of my Linux box connected via a cable modem. I haven't the faintest clue on where to start, but I know the basics of a webserver. Can anyone point to a nice article or book so that I can peruse it and try to learn this?

Is a cable modem enough bandwidth to hold only about 50 hits per day?

1. Get your network interface working.

2. Install Apache.

O'Reilly's "Apache: the Complete Reference" is good if you don't want to take Apache on your own.
