Hi I was thinking of setting up a network server which can do file sharing with WinNT+Win98 clients, serve web pages with support for PHP, JSP, ASP,MySQL database and Frontpage support. It must also be a proxy,DNS,Printer server,mail server which uses Qmail and firewall for the internal network.I slightly more computer savvy than the rest here.
The problem is I have a small HDD (4.3 GB). My company is small ( less than 10 ppl ). I tried to select the packages individually, but manage to make the total installation package to 800 MB. I would need GUI configuration tools on my system as I'm quite new. I think I will switch to the console once I get everything up and running and not touch it anymore.
I need help in selecting which are the important packages to install. Preferably with out Apache,PHP,MySQL as I would like to compile/install them on my own.
