buggy chipsets

what is the chipset from Via that is horrendously unstable ? Is it the kt 133?

shopping for motherboard and found a great deal on a mobo w/duron 900 wondering about the chipset

Some distros apparently have problems with the via.

I have 2 new pc's both with the via and one so far has had no problems whatsoever.

i normally have installed as follows freebsd 4.2 win2k and one version or another drake as long as bsd runs okay on it i could care less what happens to the other 2--thanks for the response
