printer HELP!!!

I'm having trouble with my printer
Everytime I'm on linux and I have the printer turned on it would keep printing the same page that first printed when Mandrake 8 installation tested my printer. The line that it keeps printing is

##BeginFeature: PageSize Letter <</PageSize[612 792]/ImagingBBox

---------------------------------

I do not know why it still keeps printing this, I tried canceling it by doing lprm but it says unable to cancel Jobs, and im doing this under root. So does anyone have any idea on how to take care of this problem???? please help!

I am not sure I am any help on this. I do know that Kups has a menu selection that allegedly terminates print jobs.

To run kups, if you are in KDE, open a konsole (terminal) and type kups &lt;enter&gt; and it should bring up a window that includes what I am talking about.

of course, if you are not using kups, this will probably not work.

There doesn't seem to be a lot of print smarts out there. there is a URL named something like linux-printing.org and from 50 to 90% of the postings never get a response. And, some guy in DE sent me a mail telling me to get lost because he thought I chattered too much. However, I suppose you could try it.
