I finally fixed my video settings, so I finally got X windows to work. However, I can't seem to make it respond to my mouse. When I ran XF86config, it responded just fine, and it also worked in the test mode. When I go into X Windows, though, I cant move my mouse. Can anybody help?

What type of mouse are you using? And what port is it attached to? Also, what driver did you specify for the mouse module in XF86Setup?

Does your mouse do anything in a console? Do you have GPM running? Have you tried enabling or disabling it?

Try running gpmconfig.
Once the mouse is working at the console level you should be able to use it in X.
It's a 9pin serial kinda thing.
You play a different game with as ps2 mouse.
