USB or not to USB.. that is the question?!?

Since I upgraded to kernel 2.4, I have been getting stuck at boot time, every other boot..

usb.c : registered new driver usbdevfs
usb.c : registered new driver hub
uhci.c : USB UHCI at I/O 0x14a0, IRQ 11
uhci.c : detected 2 ports
usb.c : new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 1


that's it, it just hangs there.. I have to switch the power off and turn it back on, from there it boots up normally..
any ideas.. I am really confused, I dont even know where to begin looking anymore.

Have you updated your modutils package? if not give it a shot...Hope this helps.
