i've got a driver that needs to be installed, and i have no clue about install this driver for my usb scanner on my linux box, redhat 7.1 (2.42) and info would be greatly appricated

we i have sane installed but currently my scaner isn't support so i went to a site and got drivers for my scanner i need to know how to install this driver, than make sane reconize my scanner

The website sez it's supported (PP and USB).

What's the matter with your setup? It doesn't show signs of life?

Oh, and if you succeed in whatever you're trying, let me know.
I'm also looking for a Linux-supported scanner to buy in a couple of months.
