Has anyone used Insure++ Lite? I have an offer from Parasoft to buy it for UKŁ620 as opposed to paying €10,000 for the full version.
Does it pin-point memory leaks and memory corruption?
Their Tech support says it will not identify the location of memory leaks just tell you that some have occurred, but according to Parasofts Press release on Insure++ Lite:
'.. The new lite version for Red Hat Linux is a fully functional version of Insure++ configured specifically for the Linux operating system and including the features Linux developers need most. These features and functions include memory corruption, uninitialized variables, and memory leaks for maximum error detection in C/C++ software development. '
