about httpd

I use linux 6.2 ,and chang netname ,I can surfing ,but it is slow !and I ping myself ,it is very well and ping my net neighbour,75% pack lost .when pinged ,it is very well .and sendmail and httpd cannot start properly! I guess it was wrong with my localhost name ,I have changed it ? does any1 hs some advice will be apreciate !!! :D

Pleez be more specific with you problem. You have a bad ping and high PL is that all you want to solve. I would first check my DNS entries as far as sendmail and httpd go.

Thankz ,guy ! I used linux for more than one years ,but everything is normal with past.but ...I knw what had happened ,OUr lan administrator is very stupid ,they have change the dns server! so, what had happened ! everything now is okay ,when I changed the dns!
