Hey there again,

Well, I'm currently in the process of downloading Mandrake because of my Slackware kernel issues. However, while I'm still using Slackware, I have a question - how do I change my host from Darkstar to whatever I want it to be. (Preferably nothing.) Is it as easy as editing a file, or is there something else?

i think the file /etc/HOSTNAME and /etc/hosts are the ones you wnat to change. hopefully that will do it.

What are your kernel issues? Could it be ppp? I had a problem with that but I fixed it. If you do I can try to help you.
