Had winxp, win98 and Mandrake 8.0 installed.Have 2 hd 1=20gig, 4 partitions, 1=8gig 4 partitions/. Had to reformat my hd and reinstall winxp,98 and linux.
I now have winxp and 98 installed, but when I try to install Mandrake from CD( have made setting in Bios) it start installing go througn, mouse, keyboard etc. When coming to actually installl to hd so I can reformat it all of a sudden stops and give a kill signal 11 I think and I get
/tmp/image
/tmp/stage2
/prog/bus/usb
/prog
it is now safe to restart.
Once restarting I go yhrough the same.
Since I have reformatting all my harddrives it must be in memory. Now how do I get rid of this so I can install Mandrake.
I have installed Mandrake lots and lots of times, but never come accross this.
I hope the is a smart person out there willing to give some help. I am stuck
