It can search the search engines for what ever phrase, word, etc that you tell it and on what engines you want the search done in. You can search for people, the apple site, news, reference, entertainment, etc. for what ever you want. Basically it is it's own little search engine for the computer and beyond and another great Apple creation. (Can you tell I like to plug the Mac when I can?)
