Has anyone had success with using DirecPC in linux? I know there's a company that sells a driver but it starts at like $199 but that's way too much. Anyone help would be appreciated..Thanks.

The only solutions I have found were extremely expensive (really meant for business networks). If you are still interested in the expensive solutions, go to Direcpc's web site under the "owners club." Hughes have recently introduced a bidirectional satellite modem. The new 2-way Sattellite modem is supposed to be available early this year (word has it that it is already being sold in some places). Hopefully the opensource community will jump on this quickly and provide us newbies with the means to hook up our Linux boxes to this new 2-way satellite modem. If you hear anything before I do, let me know! justlinux.com
