Hi,

I need to add the ide-floppy (module??)
to my Rh7.1 I am trying to get info about
what needs to be compile and how to
automatically load this up during boot up.

Any help?

Thanks,

Pedro

If the ide-floppy module is already compiled with your current kernel, all you have to do is modprobe it to actually insert it into the kernel.

If you don't have ide-floppy compiled as a module (or directly into the kernel), you'll have to recompile. I don't recall which kernel configuration catagory IDE-floppy support is in, but it's probably "block devices". I remember it being near the general IDE hard drive stuff.
