Mandrake8.1 & blackbox-menu

has anyone ever spent several minutes manually editing their application menu in Blackbox getting all the fat trimmed, and adding a few things, and removing a few things that you either do not need or want, only to find later thaat Mandrake put it back to its default state (with all the fat and other items that you just removed)???

whatever is in Mandrake 8.1 that edits my menu, i want to kill it from messing up my custom Blackbox menu...

what does this???

nevermind, i killed it...

i see you have to use the menu editor while booted to KDE while logged on as root and select to edit the system menus, then it was a breeze to trim the fat, shorten a few long names...
