I was kinda upset to see that I couldn't submit this as news - Jeez I miss Sensei...
Anyway, Gnome and Corel are quickly moving to embrace Microsoft's .NET platform. I know everyone complains about MS, but this is going to bring true cross platform power and compatibility. It is something that Linux desperately needs, and I think it will go a long way towards making Linux mainstream. Here is more about the Gnome portion:
