I registered here a few months ago, but was never able to access the site. I never received my password and when I attempted to retrieve my password using the "Lost Password" function, I got a mail server error.

Anyway, I came on today and gave it a shot and it worked. :)

I consider myself to be a Linux Novice as I know basic commands and whatnot. My current goal is to setup my own web server and install MySQL and PHP support.

I currently run www.3rdgen.org (http://www.3rdgen.org) and use a PHP based message board. My goals are to get the web server functional and learn how to install SQL and PHP. I already made a post in Web Serving so I'm looking forward to receiving some responses.

Anyway, everybody poke the newbie! :D

Ok, it's not that big after all but I can't find a bigger pic. A forum search might reveal something.

A lot of us lost our accounts due to a corrupted database here and we also could not re-register due to the new member email (and notifications) not working for quite a few months.
