Hi,
I need some info about success case of Linux solutions at enterprise world. I have found some info at linuxsv.org but what I really need is a list of real cases..

for example:
Company-A uses apache and cluster suite for online Ecomerce
Company-B uses sendmail for email exchange
Company-C uses KVM for virtualization
...
I have been asked why Linux is a better solution that Windows for production IT environments. I must explain REAL cases of Linux production environments.

Any help is welcome !!!
Many thanks in advance

I'd also give the Suse/Novell site a look.

You can't make the argument that Linux is better. I've never been in an IT department worth it's salt that was exclusively one platform. All the corporate data centers I've been had many platforms running side by side. IBM, HP, SUN, Dell, Compaq, they are all there.

If you're trying to open some eyes, focus on a problem and present a solution using Open Source and Linux. Success will lead to more opportunities.
