Help Help.

I am a real newbie. After managing to install Linux/Win 98, I boot Linux via Linux Boot Disk.

My prob is, after I enter my root id and password I get a messaage "cannot load control x". What does that mean, how do I fix it? I have installed the KDE package as per normal Red Hat installation. I assumed KDE would boot after I logged in. IS that what is suppose to happen, or do I need to run a command? Or should I be seeing a control panel first?

Help!!!!!!!!!!

Please

Are there any other error messages besides 'cannot load control x'? I've never seen that message before... If there is anything else you could post here to help us figure it out, please do.

You could try (from the commandline of course) to reconfigure Xwindows by trying one of the following commands. Xconfigurator, xf86config, XF86Setup.
