I don't like using webmin for samba but in webmin there is a link to swat. There is also a windows GUI for configuring samba. There is a link to it on the samba site.

SWAT is the web-based admin tool most often used to configure Samba. Webmin is more of an overall system admin tool, but SWAT is written specifically for Samba, and therfore offers more functionality in that area. Here's a link (http://www.sambaessentials.com/installation.php) with more information on the subject.

SWAT is definately the way to go. I used swat to make the configuration, and then took it off the startup so there is no worry of an open port.

I would only use webmin in the first place if you are tyring to learn what the conf files look like. I used webmin to get samba going. The catch with webmin and samba, you have to convert unix users to samba users. Forget that part, and you wont access ya shares. After you get it running just look at the smb.conf. It in itself, is pretty straight forward. I just edit it directly now.
