I compiled the kernel 2.4.3, it works great.
However /dev/lp0 and /dev/cdrom cannot be found at startup.
How do i set this up? I enabled parallel port support and cdrom iso...
Do i need to config something else?
Did i miss something here?

I use red hat wolverine.

Thanks

REcheck your kernel settings: maybe you forgot to turn on floppy and cdrom support.

I didn't miss any kernel settings, /dev/cdrom doesn't excist any more.
You should point /dev/cdrom to /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 !!
I'm going to search the kernel 2.4.3 docs for the lp0 location, because i can't find it.
